SILKMEN SET TO WELCOME HUDDERSFIELD TOWN TO THE LEASING.COM STADIUM

25 Apr 2022 | First Team

Macclesfield FC are delighted to confirm that Premier League promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town are the latest high-profile name to be added to our pre-season schedule.

Currently lying in third place within the Championship, The Terriers will visit the Leasing.com Stadium on Thursday 21st July.

The match is set for a 19:45 kick-off and we will be publishing ticketing information and all the pre-match build-up in due course.

Our updated pre-season schedule is as follows –

2nd July: Longridge Town (A)

5th July: Crewe Alexandra (H)

9th July: Morecambe (H)

12th July: West Bromwich Albion XI (H)

16th July: Buxton (H)

19th July: Matlock (H)

21st July: Huddersfield Town (H)

26th July: Chorley (H)

28th July: Blackpool (H)

2nd August: FC United of Manchester (H)

In addition to this, we can confirm that our Champions Cup game against the winners of the Macron Cup will be held on 23rd July.

Should Danny Whitaker’s side claim a league and cup double, then it is thought that we will play Skelmersdale United by virtue of them finishing as league runners-up.

The Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round will take place on 6th August, with our first league game set for 13th August.
Please note that the above fixtures are subject to change and we will provide all the build-up in due course.
