Macclesfield FC are pleased to have agreed terms with former York City winger Alex Hurst until the end of the season. 

The 23 year old joins following his departure from The Minstermen having made 33 appearances last season in The National League.

Hurst first came through the academy at The SIlkmen in his youth before moving to Port Vale going on to make 29 appearances in all competitions for The Valiants.

Alex brings a high level of versatility to the squad being able to play on either wing or through the middle.

Hurst will be eligible for this Saturday’s FA Cup game at home to Warrington Rylands.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Alex every success during his time at the club.
