The Silkmen make the short journey to Buxton for the first instalment of an Easter double header this afternoon.

For those heading East along the A537 to the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium, here is all the key information you need.

Public Transport – The High Peak 58 bus operates between Macclesfield Bus Station and Buxton, providing a daily hourly service. Buses generally depart Macclesfield Bus Station from Bay 3.

By Car – Join the A537 from Macclesfield town centre and enter Buxton on the A53, merging from the A54 and A537 prior. A set of traffic lights will be signposted towards the Town Centre. From there, you will arrive at a roundabout, where you will want to take the second exit onto The Quadrant (A515). Continue on this road and head towards the Buxton Market, turning left at Joe Royle’s shop before turning left again onto Concert Place. From this point, follow the same directions mentioned above.

Parking – Buxton recommend three different car parks for travelling fans, all of which are fairly close to the ground. They are as follows:

  • Market Place Car Park (SK17 6EB) – 0.3 miles from Stadium and a 7-minute walk
  • Sylvan Park (SK17 6BY) – 0.3 miles from Stadium and a 9-minute walk
  • Spring Gardens Car Park (SK17 6BY) – 0.3 miles from Stadium and an 8-minute walk.

The Silkmen have been given an initial allocation of 1000 tickets for the game at Tarmac Silverlands Stadium, with a view to increase this should demand surpass the current provision.

It is imperative that Silkmen supporters purchase the correct tickets. Any supporters who are found to have purchased home tickets will be refused entry to the ground.

Food and Drink – Hot and cold refreshments will be available for visiting supporters inside the ground.

Programme – Match day programmes are available for purchase at the ground.
