Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Lewis Craig as our new Academy Manager.

Lewis brings extensive experience in elite youth development, having previously worked as Academy Manager at Crystal Palace and Manchester United Women.

His background in leading high-performance academy programmes and developing young players makes him the ideal candidate to take our academy forward.

This appointment marks an important step in the club’s long-term vision as we work towards achieving Category Four Academy status.

Lewis will play a key role in strengthening our structures, coaching standards and player pathways in line with those ambitions.

Speaking on the new role. Lewis said the following:

“I’m excited to be appointed Academy Manager at such an important time for the club.

“There is a clear vision here to develop a strong, sustainable academy that gives young players genuine opportunities.

“I’m looking forward to working with the coaches, players and wider club to help build something we can all be proud of.”
