There were plenty of minutes for our players on Dual Registrations and on Loan over the extended Easter weekend. Here is our Loan and Dual Registration Roundup from the Easter Weekend.
It was a difficult set of results for Elliot Whitehouse and Peterborough Sports as their relegation from the Enterprise National League North was confirmed on Monday. Whitehouse came off the bench for games against King’s Lynn Town, where he was sent off late on and Oxford City where they were defeated 2-0.
As for Hyde United and former Silkmen manager Michael Clegg, their Northern Premier League survival hopes were given another massive boost after taking four points out of six over the Easter fixtures. Dontai Gabidon started both their draw away at Guiseley and Derby Day victory over Ashton United on Monday.
Stockport Town were victorious on Monday as they beat FC Isle of Man 3-0 at Stockport Sports Village. Cameron Bradbury-Allen played a full 90 minutes and was part of a defensive unit that kept a clean sheet.
Sam Elliott only featured in one of Winsford United’s fixtures over the Easter period. He came off the bench in Monday’s 2-1 victory over Whitchurch Alport. They are still well in the running for a place in the play-offs with just two games to play in the Midland Football League (Winsford have a game in hand on those around them).
In the same division, whilst Stone Old Alleynians may have nothing to play for at present, David Kosatik is still gaining some valuable senior football experience. He started in their 3-1 victory over Tividale on Saturday where he played 50 minutes, and came off the bench on Monday in a narrow 2-1 defeat against Uttoxeter Town.
Alsager Town gave their chances of staying in the North West Counties First Division South a big boost as they defeated the side directly above them on Monday. Danny Guiver started for The Bullets on Saturday as they beat Market Drayton Town.
Over at Foley Meir in the same division, it was a good weekend for Brayden Gibbons, Tyler Mistry, Fin Foote and Jayden Kirk. All four started in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Allscott Heath. Kirk, Mistry and Gibbons all started again on Monday in a 1-1 draw at home against Stafford Town. It was an excellent day at the office for Brayden as he saved a second half penalty on his way to being named Man of the Match.
A great weekend for some of our up and coming talent from our Academy as they get a taste of senior football.
