Luke Duffy becomes a new club signing record for an undisclosed fee

Macclesfield FC are pleased to announce the signing of talented attacking midfielder Luke Duffy from National League North side Warrington Town ahead of the 2023/24 season opener. 

Duffy involved in 20 goals scoring 10 in the Northern Premier League last season and bagged a number of assists as he was an ever present in Town being promoted to the sixth tier. 

The 24 year old joins the Silkmen off the back of gaining promotion out of the NPL with The Yellows last season through Play-off victory against Bamber Bridge. 

Formerly of Lower Breck, he joined The Yellows in 2020 after impressing in a pre season game after previously being part of the Salford City Development Squad. 

Duffy has also previously had trials with Premier League outfits Brentford and Crystal Palace and provides a wealth of knowledge at this level. 

Luke is a direct forward who likes to get forward and create chances as well as scoring goals and provides further strength to Mark Duffy’s squad for the 2023/24 campaign.
