MATCH PREVIEW: ALTRINCHAM WOMEN VS MACCLESFIELD WOMEN

Macclesfield FC Women’s First Team need your support once again on Sunday, as they face local rivals Altrincham in the First Qualifying Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

Having only recorded a draw when they last faced one another and lost at home to AFC Crewe last weekend, the Women will be more than ever to secure the bragging rights and progress to the next round.

The game once again represents a massive local derby and will be a huge opportunity for Jenna Lea and Dane Jones’ side to right wrongs in the best possible way.

As ever with a derby, the form book can be considered irrelevant, especially in a cup competition format, where league results can quickly subside with a win on Sunday.

You really don’t want to miss this one!

Kick-off at the Leasing.com Stadium is 19:30 with admission prices at the Club Reception set as £3 for adults, and £1 for Under-18s / Concessions.

Season Ticket Holders are also able to enjoy 25% off all drinks with up to three guests in Bar Twenty Seven throughout the game.

We wish the ladies all the very best of luck for the tie and hope to see them progress in the famous old competition.

The line-up and full time score will be published at the relevant times on the Club’s social media outlets.
