Macclesfield FC return to the Leasing.com Stadium this weekend to welcome Gainsborough Trinity.

Mark Duffy’s side comes into the game off the back of a strong performance against Matlock Town in midweek thanks to goals from Tom Peers, Paul Dawson, and Neil Kengni.

Saturday provides another stern test for the Silkmen against a Trinity side who come off the back of a playoff campaign last season losing out to beaten finalist Bamber Bridge.

The Lincolnshire outfit come into Saturday’s game gaining one point from their opening two games after a draw with Marine and defeat to Ilkeston Town on Tuesday night.
