MATCH PREVIEW: WHITBY TOWN

10 Nov 2023 | Latest News, Match Preview

Macclesfield FC return to league action at The Leasing.com Stadium this Remembrance Weekend as Whitby Town make the journey from North Yorkshire.

Alex Bruce takes charge of his first home game for the club after a hard-fought 1-0 victory away at Marske United on his managerial bow. A second-half header from Laurent Mendy proved the difference as the new regime started perfectly.

The visitors remain unbeaten in the league away from home after a victory away at fellow play-off contenders Hyde United on Tuesday night.

The Seasiders were knocked out of The FA Cup last weekend with a valiant effort away at Bristol Rovers and will hope to push on in their league campaign.
