NEIL BAKER JOINS SILKMEN COACHING STAFF

03 Oct 2023 | Latest News, Men's First Team

Macclesfield FC is delighted to be able to welcome the addition of Neil Baker to Mark Duffy’s coaching staff.

The former Leek Town manager provides a wealth of experience at this level having guided our neighbours to a number of playoff appearances across the Northern Premier League divisions.

Neil was in charge of The Blues last season as they pushed The Silkmen all the way in the Northern Premier League West Division before losing out to Runcorn Linnets in the semi finals.

Baker joins us following the departure of Paddy Byrne to Chesterfield and his experience within the game will provide a real asset to The Silkmen’s promotion push.

Adding to an already strong coaching team, Neil’s knowledge will prove invaluable alongside Duffs, Sammy and the rest of the coaching staff.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Neil a warm welcome and every success in his new role.
