SILKMEN WIN NWCFL PREMIER DIVISION PROGRAMME OF THE YEAR AWARD

18 Jun 2022 | Latest News

Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce that our matchday programme has been voted NWCFL Premier Division Programme of the Year.

The NWCFL Board considered a range of criteria that included the overall quality of the programme, standard of articles, timely submissions to the league and a number of other technical requirements.

Bearing in mind the standard of publication that we came up against, the Club really are humbled to receive this accolade and would like to thank the NWCFL Board for awarding it to us.

Head of Communications Bob Trafford stated –

“In a world which is dominated by the internet, it is great to see that there is still a place for printed programmes within the matchday experience.

“This season, we have worked really hard to produce a programme that the fans can be proud of and hopefully, we went some way to achieving that.

“That is not to say that it can’t be improved of course and we have already started to put a number of things into place ahead of the 2022/23 season.

“I would like to thank everyone who contributed articles this year, together with the photographers who have blessed us with some phenomenal images and all the supporters who bought the programme in their numbers.

“Special thanks must go to Jason Carpenter and Ant Mulryan from Spiral Colour, who have designed and printed the programme throughout the season – often within very short timescales.

“They have consistently gone over and above the call of duty and without their professionalism, our programme would not have been anywhere near the standard that it was.”

Jason Carpenter, General Manager at Spiral Colour added to this with the following –

“As someone who recognises all that goes into producing the programme, to be recognised in this manner really is amazing.

“To produce a 56-page programme every game really is a colossal effort by all concerned and I am so proud of everyone who has helped us do this.

“Working alongside Bob really is a privilege – as like us, he just wants to give the fans the best product he can.

“The content of the programme continues to be a credit to both Bob and the Club in general and I am so pleased that we have been able to do them justice with the design and printing elements.

“What a great team we have – roll on the new season!”
