MATCH PREVIEW: MACCLESFIELD V WORKINGTON

01 Nov 2022 | Match Preview

David McNabb and Tim Lees take charge of The Silkmen for the first time this evening as we welcome Workington to the Leasing.com Stadium.

David and Tim were unveiled as our new Management Team yesterday and there can be no doubt that they will be wanting to get off to the perfect start in what is a top-of-the-table clash.

Workington currently reside in second place within the Northern Premier League West Division table – having accumulated twenty-one points from their opening twelve fixtures.

They come into the game on the back of a 0 – 0 draw at City of Liverpool on Saturday.

With a large crowd expected, there should be an electric atmosphere and one which we all hope will facilitate another home victory.

Dan Cowan is the only injury concern ahead of tonight’s game as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
