CAUGHT ON CAMERA: GLOSSOP NORTH END (A)

The Silkmen extended their lead at the Northern Premier League West Division summit, with a hard-fought 2 – 1 victory at Glossop North End yesterday.

Neil Danns opened the scoring with a nonchalant finish within the first minute, before Jack Hopkins restored parity for the hosts seven minutes after the interval.

Substitute Tom Clare’s clinical header midway through the second period proved to be decisive however, with former Silkman Ekow Coker seeing red for The Hillmen in the latter stages of the game.
