KANE DRUMMOND SIGNS FOR THE SILKMEN

Macclesfield FC are delighted to confirm the signing of highly-rated forward Kane Drummond, who arrives at the Club from Northern Premier League side Warrington Rylands.

The 21-year-old began his career at Liverpool, before joining the Robbie Fowler Academy in July 2017.

During this time, Kane was part of the squad that won the English Colleges Championship and Dubai International Super Cup.

Joining David McNabb’s Warrington Rylands side in the summer of 2019, Kane became the Club’s first-ever contracted player in January 2020 – such was the esteem that he was held in.

Kane became an integral part of their 2021 Buildbase FA Vase-winning side and represented a pivotal member of the team that claimed last season’s Northern Premier League West Division title – scoring eighteen priceless goals in just thirty-one appearances.

In addition to this, Kane was named within the NPL West Division Team of the Season and also secured the NPL West Division Player of the Season accolade.

There can be no doubt that Kane represents a huge talent at this level of the game and we are delighted that he has decided to join us here at the Leasing.com Stadium.
