The Silkmen return to the Leasing.com Stadium for our first home game of 2023 this afternoon, as we welcome near neighbours Leek Town for what represents a vital top-of-the-table clash.
Neil Danns’ side will be looking to continue their rich vein of form and secure a fifth successive victory in all competitions.
Should this be the case, then Macc will open up an eight point lead at the top of the Northern Premier League West Division.
Leek come into this afternoon’s clash sitting in second place – five points behind The Silkmen with a game in hand.
They have amassed forty-four points from their opening twenty games and this includes a 2 – 1 victory against 1874 Northwich on Monday afternoon.
We are all set for what should be a pulsating contest and with a capacity crowd in attendance, the game is sure to generate an electric atmosphere.
