MATCH PREVIEW: WIDNES V MACCLESFIELD

The Silkmen kick-off 2023 tomorrow afternoon, as Neil Danns takes his side to Widnes.

There can be no doubt that the lads will have their sights firmly set on extending their five point lead at the Northern Premier League West Division summit ahead of Saturday’s massive local derby against Leek Town.

Widnes currently reside twentieth in the league standings, having amassed sixteen points from their opening twenty fixtures.

They come into the game on the back of a 2 – 0 defeat at Skelmersdale United on Boxing Day.

Marcelo Pitaluga continues his recovery from an ankle ligament injury and he represents the only known injury concern.

Max Bardsley-Rowe will not be available for the hosts due to the terms of his loan agreement.
