Andy Owens scored his second goal of our pre-season campaign last night, as he slotted the ball into the back of an empty net in the dying moments of an entertaining clash against West Bromwich Albion.
The Silkmen had broken the deadlock with a clinical header from a trialist in the first period and Owens’ strike not only doubled our advantage but also rounded off another inspired performance.
