The Silkmen stormed into the next round of the Isuzu FA Trophy this afternoon, courtesy of a 5 – 1 victory against Widnes.
Declan Daniels opened the scoring in the tenth minute for the visitors, yet Alex Curran restored parity in the 31st minute with a clinically converted penalty.
James Berry then gave Macc the lead in the 44th minute, before Nicky Maynard gave us a two-goal cushion right on the stroke of half-time.
Joe Bunney fired home his first goal for the Club in the 71st minute, before Maynard claimed his second goal of the game two minutes from time.
