COME DOWN TO SUPPORT OUR WOMEN’S TEAM THIS SUNDAY AS THEY LOOK TO CLAIM LEAGUE TITLE

09 Apr 2022 | Women’s First Team

Macclesfield FC Women’s Team return to the Leasing.com Stadium this Sunday, for what will hopefully prove to be a memorable encounter against Manchester Rovers.

Jack Johnson’s side know that victory will seal the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League – Championship East title and as such, will be setting their sights on claiming maximum points once again.

Our visitors currently reside in sixth position within the league table, having accumulated nine points from their ten games played.

They have won two and lost four of their last six games and will arrive at the Leasing.com Stadium looking to spoil what will undoubtedly be a party atmosphere.

The Women’s Team have won each one of their last six encounters and have scored an incredible eighty-four goals in their twelve league games played.

Kick-off is at 14:00 and with Bar Twenty Seven fully open, please do come down to support our Women’s Team as they look to secure their first piece of silverware.
