The Silkmen return to the Stadium this afternoon, in order to contest our Isuzu FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round match against Widnes.

After storming through the First Qualifying Round with an emphatic 7 – 0 victory against Tadcaster Albion, Danny Whitaker will be hoping that his side will show the same clinical edge against the fellow NPL West Division side.

Our visitors currently reside within nineteenth position in the league, having accumulated two points from their five games played.

They secured their spot in the Second Qualifying Round with a penalty shootout victory over Skelmersdale United and will welcome Michael Ellison to the managerial hot-seat for the very first time today.

Ellison was installed earlier this week following the dismissal of Dave Dempsey and there can be no doubt that he will be looking to start his tenure with progression this afternoon.

Lewis Fensome continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained against Tadcaster Albion, whilst Dan Cowan is also ruled-out as he continues his rehabilitation after sustaining a knee injury.

Tickets remain ahead of this afternoon’s game to home supporters only and can be purchased either online via the link HERE or at our Club Reception from 12:30.

Today represents a Category B fixture.

Away supporters will be allocated c.100 seats in the north end of the Moss Lane stand (closest to the Silkmen Terrace). A line of stewards will form a barrier separating home and away fans accordingly.

Travelling fans will enter the Stadium via the turnstiles located in between the Silkmen Terrace and Moss Lane Stand.

The Silkmen Terrace will be open exclusively for home fans and access to it will be via any other turnstile – or Club Reception.

The segregation gate separating the Silkmen Terrace and Moss Lane Stand will be in operation, with toilets and refreshment facilities (including the temporary Butch’s Bar) located behind the terrace.

No tickets will be available to away supporters on the gate.

A matchday programme will be on sale from around the ground today, priced at £1.00.
