MATCH PREVIEW: MACCLESFIELD V GLOSSOP NORTH END

The Silkmen return to the Leasing.com Stadium this afternoon, as we take on Glossop North End in what represents another vitally important clash.

With Leek Town just four points behind us, Neil Danns’ side will have their sights firmly set on another home victory as the title race gathers pace.

Glossop come into the game in sixteenth position in the league, having accumulated twenty-eight points from their opening twenty-seven fixtures.

Last week, The Hillmen suffered a 2 – 1 home defeat against Skelmersdale United, as two first-half Martyn Jackson strikes proved to be decisive.

TEAM NEWS

Marcelo Pitaluga continues to be ruled out due to an ankle ligament injury and Tom Clare is unavailable for today’s game.

In addition, James Hardy is ruled out through suspension.

Supporters are asked to arrive early to avoid the risk of queues.

Please note that Disabled and Carer tickets can only be claimed from our Club Reception on production of relevant identification.

All Under-12s must be accompanied by an adult.

MATCH ARRANGEMENTS

Today represents a Category A fixture.

Away supporters will be allocated c.100 seats in the north end of the Moss Lane stand (closest to the Silkmen Terrace).

A line of stewards will form a barrier separating home and away fans accordingly.

The Silkmen Terrace will be open for away fans only.

Segregation gates will be in operation, with additional toilets and refreshment facilities available around the ground.

PROGRAMMES

A full matchday programme will be on sale from around the ground, priced at £3.00.

Card payments will also be welcome in Bar Twenty Seven and at the Star Lane End turnstiles.

COMMENTARY

If you can’t make the game then fear not, as the dulcet tones of Matthew Todd will be providing full-match commentary via our Mixlr channel from around 14:45.
