Macclesfield FC are pleased to have agreed terms to the loan signing of goalkeeper Joe Hilton from Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has had previous spells in the Northern Premier League with Marine in the past.

Hilton spent a lot of his youth career at Everton and Manchester City before joining Rovers in 2019.

The 6ft 6-inch shot-stopper spent time on loan at Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academicals in 2022 plus also spending time at Fleetwood Town the year prior.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Joe every success during his time at the Leasing.com Stadium.
